Our Story

 

A little bit about Forest & Frolic…

We are a small kiwi business on a mission to bring families high-quality and sustainable kids play equipment that both looks pretty darn gorgeous and doesn’t break the bank.

I’m a Mama and nothing brings a smile to my face more than hearing my little girl’s once nervous voice scream "higher, higher!" as she gains confidence on a swing, or seeing her imagination bubbling as she builds, then promptly crushes a sandcastle.

Having spent years working as a children’s librarian, and then helping my Dad at his import business, I needed a new challenge. The stars aligned and the opportunity presented itself in the form of kid’s outdoor play equipment. After looking at what was on hand in the market, I felt we could bring some neat products to NZ families and their backyards.

We are incredibly grateful for all your support. To pass on those good vibes we have set ourselves a goal to fund the planting of 10,000 native New Zealand trees and every item purchased gets us one step closer toward that goal.
